Missing tile floors

Monday, January 23, 2012

Jonathan Moeller, our MCC colleague in Zambia, was always fond of saying how much he loved tile floors, especially when vomit was involved.

We agree. We were missing our tile floors when Jason puked all over his bedroom carpet in the middle of the night. He must have been still high on the rungs of his bunkbed ladder because the splatter range was impressive. It was touch and go there for awhile, but Peter and I managed to clean up the spew without adding to it.

Turns out Jason has strep throat. Better than malaria. And the antibiotics have a bubble gum flavor, although the familiar nasty taste is still underneath, according to Jason.

And I thought rolling out of the bunk bed was the worst...now not so sure.
