We are in Lusaka at the MCC Guesthouse for team meetings this weekend. I am taking advantage of the wireless internet here to post a few pictures that I promised earlier.

It is hot and dry and dusty, as you can see by these banana leaves.

First day of school: Brendan in Grade 4 and Jason in Grade 1

Just a quick update on our car situation. We heard late last week that our car had been released from the Ministry of Finance so we were hopeful that we would be able to drive it home this weekend. Come to find out that while it was released from there, it is now being held by customs. When it is released from there, then our Reps can move forward with the other paperwork. So we are quite disappointed that we continue to be without a vehicle. Tomorrow we make the seven hour bus trip on the hot bus with bad Nigerian films blasting overhead back to Kitwe. But Cynthia gave us her leftover homemade tortilla chips made with chapatis so we will survive.
